• Represent Gilead's HIV Prevention products and services to a defined customer base • Generate and grow sales by achieving or exceeding sales targets within the Tennessee territory • Engage healthcare practices through in-person representation, face-to-face meetings, and strategic partnerships • Establish working relationships with healthcare providers • Deliver disease awareness information, clinical updates, and education on healthcare changes • Distill complex clinical concepts into clear messages for diverse audiences • Build and execute a territory business plan aligned with customer needs and sales goals • Monitor sales progress and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets • Promote appropriate use of Gilead products in accordance with compliance guidelines • Collaborate with field reimbursement managers, medical scientists, and other field team members to support product access, acquisition, administration, and operations • Collaborate with healthcare organizations and partner companies, including co-promotion efforts • Uphold compliance, regulatory, ethical, and company policies • Report adverse events to Gilead's Drug Safety and Public Health department • Drive sales outcomes through customer engagement and relationship management • Perform administrative tasks, including reporting call activity and customer information, submitting expenses, and managing the territory budget • Maintain product and therapeutic-area knowledge and monitor industry trends • Work autonomously to exceed performance standards • Contribute to Gilead's Inclusion & Diversity efforts
• High school and eleven years' experience, or associate degree and nine years' experience, or bachelor's degree and seven years' experience, or master's degree and five years' experience • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned area • Ability to satisfy applicable healthcare practitioner onsite visitation requirements • Valid driver's license required • Minimum of seven years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience preferred • Superior selling skills in highly competitive markets • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives • Experience with account-focused cross-functional teams • Experience selling injectable physician-administered products preferred • Familiarity with the managed care landscape preferred • Experience selling a Buy and Bill product with proven sales success • Strong communication and presentation skills • Strong therapeutic-area, disease-state, treatment-protocol, and competitive-landscape knowledge • Cultural awareness, empathy, and sensitivity when engaging diverse customers • Comfort engaging in conversations in the sexual health space • Ability to lead and collaborate in a cross-functional matrix environment • Ability to build and maintain internal and external partnerships • Ethical conduct and compliance leadership • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Patient-centric approach • Account management expertise • Experience managing a multi-product portfolio
