• Own overall business performance for the defined Great Lakes regional marketplace • Lead development, execution, and monitoring of integrated territory strategies aligned with brand and organizational goals • Establish regional priorities and align medical, market access, marketing, payer, logistics, and other cross-functional partners • Deliver insights on marketplace dynamics and evaluate and recommend ATC expansion • Lead teams in identifying marketplace drivers and barriers and developing tailored strategic account plans • Lead the regional approach to key account management across ATC and community accounts • Build relationships with key decision makers and influencers, including KOLs, C-suite leaders, and Cell Therapy Service Line stakeholders • Remove barriers to access and execution by engaging territory stakeholders • Lead, coach, and develop managers and field teams • Drive performance management through expectations, reviews, and ongoing feedback • Conduct regular one-to-ones and field engagement to assess account progress and reinforce best practices • Develop a world-class culture, establish trust, and support Kite Culture initiatives • Attract, retain, and develop talent through individualized development and succession planning • Foster a speak-up culture grounded in trust, accountability, and organizational values • Oversee regional demand generation through coordinated customer engagement • Partner with sales training, operations, and marketing to improve field effectiveness and execution quality • Track account activity against goals and ensure consistent follow-through • Support market access account teams in evaluating and developing ATC footprint expansion plans • Collaborate with Market Access partners on expansion opportunities • Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and patient-data protection requirements
• PhD with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience • 12+ years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries preferred • Hematology/Rare Disease experience preferred • 5+ years of people leadership experience preferred • Deep hematology/oncology clinical, operational, and account management expertise across academic and community settings • Strong performance management, coaching, and talent development capabilities • Demonstrated success achieving business targets and leading in matrix environments • Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills • Strong knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and good business conduct • Candidates should reside within the Great Lakes geography • Ability to comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and patient-data protection requirements
