📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and ship AI-powered full-stack features for large datasets • Build high-performance user experiences that help users discover, organize, and optimize access to data • Prototype, test, validate, ship, and evolve LLM- and agent-powered workflows for the data engineering lifecycle • Integrate agentic components with internal tools such as Slack and alerting systems • Engage internal data teams for dogfooding • Use AI and automation tools to improve product functionality and development workflows • Own AI solutions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with user workflows • Collaborate across the autonomous Grafana Analytics team and internal teams

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems • Familiarity with AI technologies and frameworks • Experience with LLMs, context engineering, and GenAI-powered applications • Proven track record of delivering software used by users in production • Exposure to cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior • Track record of building user-facing experiences balancing utility and user delight • Ability to prototype, collect feedback, and iterate quickly • Ability to deal with ambiguity and define scope • Experience with agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows is nice to have, but not required • Experience with data platforms such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake, or DataBricks is nice to have, but not required • Experience building tools for data engineering is nice to have, but not required
