📋 Description

• Assist customers by telephone with selecting the right product • Provide post-sales support • Answer product application and troubleshooting questions for a large range of Grainger products • Communicate with external customers, including end-users, maintenance technicians, and contractors • Communicate with internal customers, including parts and sourcing specialists, sales, and store team members • Provide technical product support by telephone while using multiple computer programs and applications simultaneously • Identify solutions and document customer conversations • Navigate websites, conduct web searches, and conduct product searches using the Grainger online catalog • Follow established processes and published schedules when customer need is greatest • Use industry-related experience, formal vendor training, and on-the-job learning to maintain technical expertise • Capture and forward product feedback to product teams based on customer and field team interactions • Report to the Manager, TPS Customer Experience

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant job experience or hands-on field experience required in Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Studies, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety Engineering • Understanding of OSHA regulations • Familiarity with NIOSH, MSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and other regulatory organizations • Proficiency in computer use • Ability to navigate different applications simultaneously using multiple screens/dual monitors
