📋 Description

• You will assist our clients in implementing the funeral module connected to the financial module of Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring a consistent deployment between the parent company and its subsidiaries, tailored to the sector’s specific requirements. • Collaborate closely with pre-sales architects to assess the feasibility of proposed solutions, estimate the required effort, and determine impacts on existing processes. • Contribute to the development of the project plan in coordination with the project manager, including the definition, sequencing, and prioritization of activities. • Lead requirements-gathering workshops, analyze functional gaps, document requirements, and design the functional architecture adapted to each client context. • Work with technical subject-matter experts to establish a robust solution architecture, based on clear documentation of functional and technical requirements. • Support clients by providing recommendations and deploying financial guidelines and procedures that meet their needs and adhere to best practices. • Write detailed functional specifications based on clients’ expressed needs, ensuring they are clear and usable by technical teams. • Prepare test scenarios, coordinate and participate in functional tests (UAT), identify issues, validate fixes, and ensure the solution meets defined requirements. • Track and validate key project milestones, confirming completion of critical deliverables before moving to the next phase. • Act as a client point of contact, answer questions about deployed solutions, and follow up on requests. • Document the final solution and organize a structured knowledge transfer to the support team or end users, ensuring the solution’s long-term sustainability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • A professional accounting designation from the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants is a significant asset. • Minimum of 3 years’ consulting experience on the financial modules of Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC). • Experience in accounting (3 years) is a plus. • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector is an advantage. • Strong understanding of financial operations, including general ledger, financial statements, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, fixed assets, billing, financial reporting, multi-currency, and multi-entity management. • Fluency in French and advanced English required due to the nature of the role, including regular communication with clients outside Quebec. • Occasional travel may be required. • The MB-800 Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Functional Associate certification is an asset.
