• Drive strategic and operational excellence for the Field Medical team • Support the Field Medical team through field initiatives, capability builds, project planning, internal process frameworks, and field systems/operations • Develop strategies with field medical leadership to drive organizational excellence • Establish frameworks and operational elements for key initiatives, including FMEP, medical unmet need, and congress frameworks • Identify medical capability needs and deliver solutions to enhance skills and competencies • Provide training on field medical systems and digital tools, including GenAI tools, Veeva CRM, and Power BI • Evaluate and refine processes, implementing innovations and technologies for field medical teams • Oversee dashboards, analytical tools, and Veeva CRM systems for evaluating customer interactions, tracking goals, and coaching performance • Oversee operational execution of Field Medical Plans and alignment with scientific exchange policies and processes • Serve as first point of escalation for field leadership and communicate governance and compliance issues • Support audit and monitoring activities for Field Medical • Collaborate with US Medical Affairs Leads, Medical Directors, MSL Directors, and Medical Communication and Scientific Training Directors • Support the budget process for key field activities
• MS, RN, PharmD, PhD or equivalent post-graduate degree, MBA, or equivalent experience • 4+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including field-based experience in Medical Affairs • US-based for consideration • Experience leading significant change initiatives using advanced project management skills • Pharmaceutical industry field-based medical experience preferred • Ability to prioritize business needs and adapt when business appropriate • Effective communication, influence, and leadership approaches • Leadership ability in a matrix environment with senior management • Strong organizational, planning, and business acumen skills • Advanced project management skills; ability to manage large projects simultaneously and conflicting priorities • Working knowledge of, or ability to quickly assimilate, GSK policies, medical guidance, and ways of working documents • Demonstrated consistent performance • Ability to travel 15 to 20%
