📋 Description

• Advise State Health and Medicaid leaders on enterprise AI strategy, capabilities, and priority mission use cases • Lead client engagements from strategy through implementation, focusing on outcomes, adoption, and sustainable operations • Translate health and Medicaid challenges into AI/ML and analytics solutions using Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, and related services • Partner with IT, program, privacy, security, legal, and procurement stakeholders to support compliant delivery • Facilitate AI use-case discovery and prioritization workshops • Define AI use-case portfolios and roadmaps balancing quick wins, modernization, transformation, and foundational capabilities • Create adoption plans covering workforce readiness, change management, training, and communications • Guide design and implementation of AI and GenAI capabilities, including predictive analytics, document processing, search, contact-center augmentation, caseworker tools, workflow automation, and program-integrity solutions • Advise on production readiness, model monitoring, drift, validation, human-in-the-loop workflows, and incident response • Partner with data engineering and architecture teams on data pipelines and curated datasets • Apply Medicaid and State Health data knowledge across claims, eligibility, enrollment, provider, managed care, LTSS, pharmacy, behavioral health, and social determinants domains • Support interoperability using FHIR, HL7, and related health data exchange patterns • Define data quality, lineage, metadata, and access patterns • Establish AI governance, risk management, review, approval, transparency, auditability, and privacy-preserving practices • Collaborate on security and privacy requirements, including HIPAA-aligned practices and agency controls • Drive business development through capture support, proposal development, orals preparation, and strategic pursuits • Expand the firm’s State Health and health and human services footprint • Contribute to thought leadership and represent the firm in client and industry discussions • Oversee cross-functional teams and work with client executives and program leaders to drive measurable value

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university • Candidate must be located within the United States and be a US Citizen • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust • Minimum seven years of hands-on AI, data, analytics, or engineering experience, including applied AI/ML work • Minimum five years delivering technical solutions and programs for public sector clients, with significant State Health and/or Medicaid experience • Experience defining AI use cases, translating business needs into solution requirements, and moving solutions from concept to implementation • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and data platforms, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake • Working knowledge of GenAI capabilities and patterns, including productivity opportunities and required controls • Experience across architecture, development oversight, deployment planning, monitoring, and operational support models • Ability to collaborate with agency executives, program leaders, engineering teams, and architecture teams • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills • Ability to travel 10% during key peak periods, such as client kickoff and implementation • Preferred: Master’s degree • Preferred: AI and/or cloud certifications, including Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake • Preferred: PMP or comparable delivery leadership credential • Preferred: hands-on experience bringing GenAI solutions into production with governance, monitoring, and adoption support • Preferred: direct experience with Medicaid systems and data sources such as MMIS, data warehouses/lakes, eligibility systems, provider systems, managed care data, or program integrity tools • Preferred: experience with health data interoperability initiatives and FHIR-based approaches • Preferred: familiarity with state procurement and contracting processes, including RFP response leadership
