📋 Description

• Work directly with clients to drive and fulfill P&C Insurance business requirements for full system implementations within Guidewire InsuranceNow • Engage in all aspects of product or service offering projects, from inception to installation • Lead and collaborate on business requirements and functional design documents with client business and technical resources • Mentor others on managing project implementation throughout the implementation cycle • Manage, advise and lead requirements on project implementations • Consult with clients and engage portfolio leadership as needed • Advocate the methodology for product implementation • Design and estimate business solutions for product gaps and enhancements • Understand objectives and requirements using business and system skills • Track work time and ensure correct billable time reporting • Assist with quality assurance testing of system deliverables when required • Deliver customer demos and system presentations during implementation and releases • Advise stakeholders and gain feedback • Escalate scope changes and customizations • Communicate issues clearly with varied audiences • Act as the business point person across project management, engineering, product development liaison and cross-functional teams • Identify potential consequences and risk levels and coach team members on problem resolution • Lead teams in understanding customer requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and making recommendations for process improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of business analyst experience • 3+ years of P&C Insurance experience • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience • Experience working in a cross-functional team and with team members in different geographical locations • Strong communication, analytical, verbal and written communication skills • Strong work ethic and ability to self-start • Strong knowledge of agile software development processes and iterative development principles • Understanding of basic insurance concepts and ability to communicate on insurance topics • Ability to assess and manage risks and communicate appropriately • Strong presentation skills • PowerPoint/Google Slides experience required • May require travel up to 25% • Preferred: experience directly communicating with and managing expectations of internal and external executive stakeholders • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with internal team members, customers and partner organizations • Desire to grow in Insurance Business knowledge
