📋 Description

• Own and deliver timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end close processes • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, and fixed asset accounting • Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate/resolve reconciling items • Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary for senior management • Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting in accordance with company policies and IFRS • Maintain fixed asset and lease accounting schedules and support quarterly note disclosures • Prepare audit support schedules and respond to internal and external audit requests • Partner with operational managers to understand business performance and provide financial insight • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, reporting, and month-end close efficiency • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

🎯 Requirements

• Some accounting qualification level required • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Effective communicator with experience and comfort working with all levels of management • Solution focused mindset with a desire to improve processes • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail • Professional financial designation (or in pursuit) stands out • Familiarity with IFRS reporting framework and project accounting and/or software revenue recognition • IFRS accounting experience ideal • Positive attitude and passion for continuous learning • Dynamic personality with ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
