• Drive bad actor elimination and reduce unplanned downtime by analyzing downtime, failure, and repeat-work data • Lead asset criticality assessment and ranking across the plant network • Facilitate root cause analysis and failure elimination for recurring failures • Conduct FMEA and develop lasting corrective actions • Develop preventive, predictive, condition-based, and lubrication maintenance strategies • Audit PM compliance and lubrication routes; optimize PM frequencies and lubrication programs • Apply vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasonic testing, and RCM principles • Translate reliability actions into CMMS work orders, PM changes, and job plan updates • Maintain CMMS asset hierarchy, failure codes, and work-order history data quality • Participate in weekly planning and scheduling reviews • Share repeat failure patterns and replicate proven solutions across sites • Standardize reliability processes, tools, and monthly reliability cadence • Train and coach Site Reliability Owners, Local Work Owners, and technicians • Champion proactive, planned, and data-driven reliability culture • Track MTBF, MTTR, asset availability, planned versus reactive work, and repeat failure KPIs • Apply Pareto, Weibull, statistical, and life-data analysis • Report reliability trends and improvement results to Maintenance Managers and Corporate Leadership • Support asset lifecycle management, lifecycle cost analysis, spare-parts optimization, commissioning, equipment modifications, and MOC • Ensure reliability activities align with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent technical experience • Experience in reliability, maintenance, or engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment • Working knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and preventive and predictive maintenance • Experience using CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or Infor • Ability to interpret failure and downtime data • Willingness to travel across the plant network as required • CMRP or CRE certification preferred • Experience with vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasonic testing, and lubrication programs preferred • Familiarity with RCM and TPM preferred • Experience with asset criticality assessments and risk-based prioritization preferred • Experience supporting multiple sites or a multi-plant network preferred • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools and reliability KPIs preferred • Experience leading cross-functional reliability or continuous improvement initiatives preferred • Experience developing training or capability-building programs preferred • Familiarity with PSM and mechanical integrity requirements in chemical or process manufacturing preferred • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must complete a drug test and background investigation successfully • Must authorize additional periodic background checks as required by CFATS or other regulatory agencies
