📋 Description

• Lead the technical architecture and delivery of the Home Design Experience application • Report to the VP of Engineering and serve as the primary technical partner to the product/UX lead • Rapidly prototype home design workflows and turn successful concepts into customer-ready software • Lead interactive 3D home design workflows connecting UI, design data, and real-time 3D scenes • Build AI-supported and agentic interactions for home design • Own application architecture and technical delivery from prototypes through production • Make decisions across frontend, application state, and service integration, including performance, reliability, and testing • Translate ambiguous goals into implementation plans and resolve technical unknowns through working code • Partner with the platform team to use, improve, implement, and document shared application foundations • Help less experienced engineers through pairing, code review, and technical guidance

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of personally architecting, building, and shipping substantial web applications from initial implementation through production use • Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and modern web application architecture • Experience with application state, API integration, performance, and maintainability • Hands-on experience with Three.js and browser-based 3D applications is a strong plus • Experience with design or CAD tools is particularly valuable • Enthusiasm for AI-forward development and AI-supported or agentic product experiences • Experience making technical decisions independently with a product or design lead • Experience collaborating across application and platform teams • Experience helping less experienced engineers through implementation, mentoring, and technical guidance • Ease with ambiguity • Strong design and craft instincts
