📋 Description

• Learn transformer maintenance, inspection, and repair processes alongside experienced Field Service Technicians • Perform mechanical and technical work in high-voltage electrical substations across the United States • Assist with equipment inspections and diagnostic evaluations supporting preventive maintenance programs • Support transformer servicing using established procedures, tools, and best practices • Operate vacuum oil processing and oil handling equipment under training and supervision • Analyze technical information and apply findings to resolve customer equipment challenges • Use digital tools to document field activities, inspections, and maintenance reports • Collaborate with customers, engineering teams, and field personnel to deliver safe and effective service solutions • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 2+ years of experience in a technical, mechanical, industrial, or related field • Relevant military training or experience will be considered equivalent • Experience in electrical systems, power generation, mechanical maintenance, or equipment repair encouraged for military veterans and transitioning service members • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record • Willingness to travel up to 85% throughout the United States • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to climb ladders and perform physically demanding work in industrial environments • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions • Comfortable with extended workday schedules when required • Candidate must already have work authorization permitting work for Hitachi Energy in the United States • Class A CDL, welding experience, or welding certification preferred
