📋 Description

• Manage the full lifecycle of transformer service projects from initiation through closure • Develop project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budgets • Coordinate engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and third-party contractors • Serve as primary customer contact and manage expectations throughout execution • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; develop contingency plans • Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide management updates • Manage project budgets, approve expenditures, and support cost-effective delivery • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines • Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement of project management processes and tools • Travel to meet customers, vendors, and sales teams

🎯 Requirements

• Must already have work authorization permitting work for Hitachi Energy in the United States • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or an associate degree with more than seven years of experience in the transformer or substation field • Minimum of five years of experience in project management focused on transformer services or heavy industrial equipment • Experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget • Understanding of transformer technology, maintenance, and repair processes preferred • Proficiency with project management software, including MS Project or Primavera P6 • PMP or equivalent project management certification highly desirable • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
