📋 Description

• Conduct analyses of Home Depot HR, Payroll and related business data and processes • Identify trends, determine root causes and develop solutions that drive effective business decisions • Coordinate the design, development and implementation of analytical tools, technology and business solutions • Gather functional requirements, maintain documentation, and develop project plans and status reports • Design and develop dashboards, reports, presentations and visual aids for HR clients and business leaders • Educate business leaders and internal HR clients about analytical tools, techniques and HR information assets • Build and govern HR data foundations used by People Analytics, Data Science and HR leaders • Engineer tested, version-controlled data pipelines in Google BigQuery • Control and audit access to sensitive HR and payroll data • Run request intake and share first-responder duty when pipelines fail • Typically report to the Sr. Manager of HR Services • Typically require overnight travel less than 10% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field related to the job • Minimum 2 years of work experience • Advanced SQL in Google BigQuery or a similar cloud data warehouse • Experience building data pipelines with Git and a SQL pipeline tool such as Dataform or dbt • Experience automating processes with Python or Microsoft Power Automate • Experience testing data with assertions, reconciliations and quality checks • Clear technical writing, such as runbooks and data documentation • Experience with HR, payroll or workforce data, ideally from Workday or UKG • Strong analytical skills, quantitative reasoning and ability to provide actionable recommendations • Project management, consulting and facilitation skills • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Knowledge of HR and Payroll processes and supporting systems • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues and risks
