📋 Description

• Maintain and repair light construction equipment, including skid steers, chippers, trenchers, and mini-excavators, at Home Depot stores and customer job sites • Conduct routine store visits to inspect equipment and document unit status • Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment inspections for rental readiness and safe operation • Respond to service calls and order parts for equipment maintenance and repairs • Document labor and parts for all work performed using the company technology platform • Train Home Depot associates and customers in equipment operation and large-equipment operating procedures • Maintain Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) certifications and accurate parts and fleet inventories • Transfer and deploy equipment between locations, including pre-delivery inspections, delivery, and associate training • Assist with equipment deliveries and pickups • Report to the Regional Field Operations Manager and perform other assigned tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside within the Victorville and Palmdale, California area • Must be 21 years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Must meet DOT medical certification requirements • Must have a valid driver's license • Associate's degree or equivalent degree in a job-related field • 3 years of work experience • 1 or more years of experience servicing construction equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor mechanical repairs • Knowledge of light construction equipment maintenance, small engines, and hydraulics • Ability to read and understand technical repair and parts manuals, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory management, and handheld technology • Ability to provide superior customer service and resolve customer complaints and disputes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently, adapt to unforeseen circumstances, and operate in extreme outdoor conditions • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, and repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements • Ability to work occasionally at heights • Ability to maintain required MEWP certifications
