📋 Description

• Independently design, develop, configure, and continuously enhance Workday Payroll solutions • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable payroll solutions • Develop integrations, configurations, business processes, reporting, testing, and production support • Contribute to solution design, platform optimization, security, performance, monitoring, and issue resolution • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software • Develop functional and destructive test suites to enable rapid deployment to production • Collaborate with team members in agile processes • Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer-ready, understandable, and testable • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers • Lead technical discussions and establish best practices for Workday platform development and support • No travel required

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job • Minimum 3 years of work experience • Experience with Workday Payroll or similar payroll/HCM platforms, including system configuration and business process optimization • Experience leveraging AI, automation, or intelligent workflow solutions to improve processes and data quality • Technical mindset with exposure to software development, integrations, APIs, or AI-driven tools • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, solve complex problems, and drive innovation through emerging technologies • Experience with front end technology such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript/Typescript frameworks • Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java • Experience with relational or noSQL database technology • Experience with cloud computing techniques • Experience with CI/CD tools and modern software design patterns • Experience with security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication • Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests • Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques • Experience with a version control system
