📋 Description

• Own technical direction of the Total Service Cloud ERP across platform features, backend correctness, and release engineering • Deliver functional parity between the legacy desktop ERP and cloud platform across Payroll, AR, AP, GL, Job Cost, Inventory, Dispatch, Sales, Purchasing, Reporting, and Banking • Ensure correctness of general-ledger posting and reversals, payroll tax wage bases, US and Canadian tax handling, multi-tenant isolation, and permission enforcement • Author and enforce ERP-wide UX standards • Maintain continuity of legacy systems, including the Java/Spring service layer and VB6 desktop ERP • Own cloud architecture and operations across Azure and AWS for a multi-tenant customer fleet • Manage release and deployment infrastructure, including GitHub Actions CI/CD, blue-green UAT, deploy gates, and slot swaps • Own cloud spend, forecasting, and optimization backlog • Lead production incident response, error triage, root-cause analysis, architectural decisions, and uptime accountability • Own the end-to-end legacy-to-cloud migration program, including tenant matrix, Python/SQL Server to PostgreSQL ETL, schema canonicalization, and data-fidelity reconciliation • Oversee customer production imports, go-lives, and escalation of migration data issues • Coordinate decommissioning of the legacy platform • Architect and operate the multi-agent development pipeline from ClickUp through Claude Code to GitHub PR • Ensure AI-assisted output is auditable, economically sustainable, and accountable • Support repo/task sync automation, AI-assisted QA triage, and developer tooling experiments • Represent the business unit on AI in the SDLC internally and across Constellation group companies • Lead the engineering team by chairing standups and technical syncs, authoring specs, dividing and reviewing work, and gatekeeping merges and releases • Direct QA and contractor staffing and resourcing • Run customer-facing onboarding and go-live for named accounts • Report R&D and AI initiatives to Jonas/Constellation and participate in cross-business-unit technical forums • Evaluate vendors and drive business-unit IT, security, and tenancy decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Senior full-stack engineering depth in TypeScript/Node, React, Express, and an ORM against PostgreSQL • Demonstrated ownership of a production application at meaningful scale • Strong backend correctness discipline in financial or accounting domains such as GL, AR/AP, payroll, or tax • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS security, authorization, and tenant isolation • Substantial cloud engineering experience on Azure and/or AWS • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, secrets and identity management, and cost optimization • Data migration and ETL experience at fleet scale, including schema canonicalization and reconciliation • DevOps and release engineering experience, including CI/CD, blue-green or slot-based deployment, migration safety, and production incident response • Practical experience with LLM agents or AI-assisted development • Technical leadership experience, including leading engineers, setting standards, gatekeeping releases, and representing engineering to executives and customers • Comfort working with legacy code • Preferred: field-service, elevator, door, or HVAC ERP domain experience • Preferred: experience inside the Jonas Software / Constellation operating model • Preferred: mobile release engineering, including Android, Play Console, signing and keystore management, and crash observability • Preferred: Java or Java/Android maintenance experience • Preferred: enterprise identity and tenancy administration, including Entra/SSO, Microsoft 365, and email security tooling • Preferred: .NET/C# familiarity for auxiliary services • Scheduled weekly hours: 40 • Regular worker type
