📋 Description

• Develop and produce standard and custom transformers up to 1600 KVA • Responsible for developing new electrical designs to reduce costs and meet customer requirements • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Sales personnel • Organize and maintain design project schedules • Provide technical assistance to Customers, Technical Sales, Customer Service, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing • Design to meet Agency/compliance requirements and internal quality standards • Assure product quality by designing effective electrical testing methods for manufacturing • Monitor prototyping efforts with manufacturing and vendors when applicable • Lead electrical design for new products and make improvements to existing products

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10 years’ experience or equivalent related engineering experience • Extensive experience in design of Power Distribution Unit (PDU) transformers for data center applications • Experience with Transformer Design software such as OPS, Ansoft or equivalents • UL/CSA, NEMA transformer standards knowledge preferred • Ability to read and create detailed technical wiring diagrams, schematics, and bill of materials • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
