📋 Description

• Assist the Portfolio Manager in trading activity: movements/net cash flows (redemptions and contributions, distributions, if any). • Trade execution for PM pools, legacy SMA models. • Conduct security research and evaluate managers/strategies. • Review Offering Memorandums and assessing alternative strategies’ structure, risks, and return drivers. • Multi‑asset portfolio construction, rebalancing, and implementing from PM directives. • Conduct performance attribution, risk metrics analysis, and portfolio diagnostics. • Provide trade execution, order management, and maintaining accurate portfolio positioning. • Produce clear, concise investment reports, analytics, and recommendations for PMs. • Lead the development, review, and documentation of PM Pool KYP assessments in alignment with program standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently registered as Associate Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Manager with a securities regulator • Very strong investment acumen and understanding of portfolio construction principles • Experience in portfolio allocation, portfolio rebalancing, trade execution and reconciliation • Good knowledge of alternative investments (real estate, private equity, private debt, etc.) • Strong understanding of the Canadian full-service wealth management space • Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance or related fields • CFA or CIM designation • Must be fluent in English and French to communicate with advisors across the country • Strong technical skills in Excel, Bloomberg/FactSet (or equivalents), and portfolio analytics tools. • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a fast‑paced PM environment.
