📋 Description

• Provide subject matter expertise for technical assistance projects supporting efforts to prevent and end homelessness • Support strategic planning, system and program evaluation, data analysis, system modeling, research, and policy development • Interpret HUD policy and technical guidance and translate requirements into system configurations, data collection practices, and reporting workflows • Develop efficient and replicable approaches for reports, analytic work products, system administration, and other assigned tasks • Implement HMIS data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes • Identify system configuration settings, business rules, workflows, and other system administration activities • Develop performance measurement reports, research briefs, training materials, and other professionally written products • Develop and document repeatable analytical approaches for federal and local reporting needs • Collaborate across program, policy, and technical teams to align data solutions with homeless services best practices and equity goals • Develop and maintain HMIS documentation to support training development and delivery • Support administration and operation of an HMIS for a large Continuum of Care • Analyze system- and project-level HMIS data to develop reports and analytic products informing strategy and operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or Information Systems, Public Policy, Planning, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered • Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with an HMIS software implementation • Thorough understanding of HMIS report programming specifications • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment while meeting stringent deadlines • Experience using Python, R, SQL or other code-based reporting and scripting frameworks to support report development (preferred) • Strong team player with the ability to take initiative and work well independently (preferred) • Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet stringent deadlines (preferred)
