📋 Description

• Collect and analyze AI model performance data on Intel CPUs and GPUs • Contribute to hardware and software features that optimize AI models and workload performance • Evaluate optimization impact on hardware design • Support co-design of next-generation Intel CPU and GPU architectures through compiler innovation • Work alongside experienced engineers on AI/ML model and framework optimizations • Gain hands-on experience with LLVM, SYCL, CUDA, compilers, and runtimes across the hardware-software stack

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a Master's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field, with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in domain skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training, OR a Master's degree in the relevant field with no prior professional experience • Proficiency in C/C++ programming • Understanding of data structures and algorithms • Familiarity with compiler construction concepts from coursework or projects • Knowledge of modern CPU/GPU architecture and memory systems • Experience with accelerated computing and parallel programming models such as OpenMP, CUDA, or SYCL • Hands-on experience building compilers or compiler components using the LLVM framework • Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize AI models and runtimes for performance and scalability across heterogeneous architectures • Experience in kernel programming and AI model optimization using PyTorch for large language models (LLMs) • Familiarity with Intel Architecture and GPU performance tracking and analysis • Proven ability to debug complex technical problems and proactively propose solutions
