• Support the launch and ongoing growth of Ionis’s first wholly owned commercial product as its indication expands from FCS to severe hypertriglyceridemia • Engage key customers and accounts, identify opportunities to improve patient care, and build partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem • Build, maintain, and leverage local healthcare-system networks and relationships • Develop and execute effective business plans to meet customer and Ionis goals • Educate HCPs and office staff on sHTG disease awareness, diagnostic pathways, and treatment prioritization • Provide value-added resources and HCP/patient support materials and programs • Participate in conferences, congresses, and scientific meetings • Gather account insights and provide feedback to field leadership and marketing • Understand local referral networks and identify, validate, and document potential HCPs treating sHTG patients • Execute brand strategic plans and develop customer-focused territory account plans • Build tactics based on customer needs, including those of endocrinologists, cardiologists, and targeted PCPs • Adjust territory strategies to meet business goals • Participate in field meetings and training programs • Collaborate with cross-functional teammates and share customer-engagement learnings • Use available platforms and technology to compliantly engage customers through multiple channels • Partner on accounts involving patients seen by multiple specialties across geographies
• Bachelor’s Degree • 5+ years of experience in Pharma sales • Experience in new product launches • Account-based selling experience • HCP and IDN engagement experience • Cross-functional field team coordination experience • Prior experience independently managing a sales territory • Background in cardiology, endocrinology, and other subspecialties treating FCS patients • Injectable experience preferred • Familiarity with cardiometabolic and lipid-related diseases such as severe hypertriglyceridemia • Established relationships with key opinion leaders and major accounts • Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies • Record of navigating complex accounts and aligning solutions with patient needs • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to addressing patient needs • Ability to learn and adhere to the company’s mission, vision, policies, procedures, and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct • Ability to complete approved-label and compliance training and applicable customer-engagement certifications
