📋 Description

• Maintain existing donor relationships and partnerships within an allocated regional area • Develop new relationships and partnerships to expand community outreach and increase new donors • Manage stakeholder, mosque and community relationships • Organize Jummah or Taraweeh collections and distribute campaign materials • Set up community and mosque fundraisers to raise funds and awareness • Meet fundraising targets and ensure return on investment • Formalize partnerships through memoranda of understanding or contracts • Provide fundraising support and respond to regional inquiries • Communicate performance and provide regular updates to the Line Manager • Use regional and personal social media platforms to promote messaging, campaigns, activities and appeals • Recruit, train and manage regional volunteers • Lead volunteer teams in planning and executing community events, IRC events, challenges and tours • Attend and network at local and IRC events to build relationships and recruit volunteers • Represent the organization at IR and non-IR events • Ensure materials and equipment are available for events • Load, deliver and return event materials and equipment • Maintain supplies of fundraising and promotional materials

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in establishing and developing relationships with key stakeholders • Experience in project coordination, including events and campaigns • Experience organizing and supervising events • Experience recruiting, managing and developing volunteers • Knowledge and understanding of the local region and community • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Ability to motivate and manage volunteers • Strong motivation and empathy toward the aims and objectives of the organization • Numerical skills, accuracy under pressure and attention to detail • Ability to represent Islamic Relief in a wide range of situations • IT literacy, including Google Suite, databases and project management tools • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, planning, deadline management and monitoring systems • Current local driving license and access to a vehicle • Flexible approach to work to accommodate events, functions and work activity • Willingness to travel nationally at short notice
