📋 Description

• Build tools and shared infrastructure that make developers across Jane faster • Develop the agentic context and harness used by the monolith • Build plugins, skills, and environments that let agents work safely • Measure the impact and adoption of developer acceleration tools • Build platform systems for running agents in the cloud, distributing skills, and managing context • Embed with product teams to observe developer workflows and diagnose friction such as CI noise, oversized pull requests, review latency, and changes-requested churn • Turn workflow observations into scalable tooling that removes friction across teams • Increase the share of pull requests authored, landed, and merged by agents • Communicate context, risks, and updates early and often in distributed team channels

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience designing systems other developers depend on • Hands-on, daily experience building with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and similar across the software development lifecycle • Experience delegating real work to agents, including writing specs, running multi-file changes, and critically reviewing output • Track record of building production-grade systems, often from the ground up • Understanding of large, long-lived codebases with many teams and deep history • Understanding of providing LLMs with the right context inside large codebases • Genuine curiosity about developer experience and productivity • Documentation, teaching, and hands-on experience helping developers adopt tools • Experience with evals, prompt and context engineering, or guardrails for safe autonomous agents is welcome but not required • Background in observability and quality is welcome but not required • Comfort with TypeScript • Ruby on Rails experience is helpful but not required • Must currently live in Canada • Must have the legal right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship • Jane cannot support relocation, visa sponsorship, or employment through a third party or employer of record
