📋 Description

• Build customer-facing payments features, including IC+ pricing, surcharging, and payment automation • Apply enterprise architecture patterns to design and scale reliable payments systems • Communicate context, risks, and updates in team channels • Partner closely with product to take work from idea to shipped, measurable outcomes • Use AI tools in the daily software development workflow • Help improve how the team builds software • Support customer-facing payments work for clinics using Jane

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience • Strong backend expertise • Solid grasp of enterprise architecture patterns • Experience building and maintaining production-grade systems, ideally within SaaS environments • Comfort working across the stack, or genuine desire to grow into full-stack development • Strong bias to action and open, energetic, collaborative communication style • Enthusiasm for AI and hands-on experience using it in work • Ruby on Rails experience is a nice-to-have, not a requirement • Experience with payments or financial systems is a plus • Experience in mortgage technology, property technology, or loyalty and benefit card systems is a plus • Must currently live in Canada • Must have legal right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship • Must be able to work without relocation, visa sponsorship, or third-party employer-of-record support
