📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of developers, coaching technical and professional skills • Partner with product and design from early conversations to understand use cases, shape scope, and determine required data • Drive zero-to-one product work from ambiguous ideas and prototypes through shipped features • Provide technical leadership in architecture reviews and guide scalable technical decisions • Own team delivery, priorities, and momentum • Help the team balance experimentation and speed with quality and correctness • Champion pragmatic, responsible AI adoption in clinic-facing experiences and team workflows • Lead development of tools for clinic websites, AI-assisted website generation, and marketing analytics • Work with products that help clinics run their businesses, care for patients, and grow their communities

🎯 Requirements

• Several years as a hands-on software developer, followed by experience leading a development team as a people manager • Strong technical foundation • Comfortable reviewing architecture, weighing tradeoffs, and guiding technical direction alongside senior and staff developers • Experience taking at least one product from zero to one • Comfortable with fast iteration and ambiguity when building something new • Deeply collaborative and comfortable working in a triad with product and design • Energized by coaching, with examples of helping team members grow • Steady under pressure, takes ownership, and moves work forward until delivery • Experience using AI tools personally or with a team • Curious, practical view of where AI adds real value • Experience with marketing tools, website builders, or analytics products is a nice bonus, but not required • Must be currently living in Canada • Must have the legal right to work in Canada without employer sponsorship • Jane is unable to support relocation, visa sponsorship, or employment through a third party or employer of record
