• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on HVAC systems, water chillers, pumps, motors, air handlers, and related mechanical equipment • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation system issues to ensure minimal operational downtime • Utilize CMMS technology to manage work orders, document maintenance activities, and track system performance • Monitor building operations and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, system reliability, and overall facility performance • Coordinate with team members, contractors, vendors, and client representatives to support maintenance activities and respond to service requests • Complete general building maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing and electrical repairs, as required • Maintain compliance with applicable safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements while supporting a safe working environment • Support the reliable operation, maintenance, and optimization of facilities for JLL’s State of Tennessee client
• Valid state driver’s license maintained throughout employment • Minimum 2 years of experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or related technical operations • Hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, including pumps, motors, air handlers, and building automation or controls systems • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs in accordance with applicable codes and regulations • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, web-based systems, and handheld technology devices such as tablets or smartphones • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, occupants, contractors, and internal teams • Knowledge of MEP and HVAC system design, operation, and application principles • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for maintenance tracking and work order management • Familiarity with energy management systems and building automation technologies • Experience supporting government, institutional, or large commercial facilities • Understanding of energy efficiency initiatives, sustainability practices, or operational improvement programs • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Work shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday
