📋 Description

• Review and analyze client tax and revenue data to prepare accurate returns • Prepare supporting workpapers and reconcile client ledgers to imported tax data • Facilitate and process state and local tax filings—both paper and online—and ensure timely payments • Communicate with clients throughout the tax preparation process and act as a client representative with applicable agencies as needed • Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and referrals • Process business renewal applications and exemption certifications • Review, prepare, and file tax returns • Reconcile financial data • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all filings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (math degree preferred) or equivalent experience in accounting • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools • Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external clients • Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet tax deadlines • Familiarity with telecommunications industry tax requirements preferred • Experience with tax preparation software preferred
