📋 Description

• Build new data models, ETL/API integrations, and support applications including Foundry • Maintain the OPSDB platform, sync reliability, alerting, and production support • Own data quality and platform maintenance • Manage governance and technical debt, including RBAC, scoped roles, dbt semantic layer, and documentation • Support Mingomba through commitments-register work and coordination with Procurement, Inventory, and other functional areas • Provide peer mentorship and support junior analysts’ skill growth • Own systems end to end, including the data model, ETL, application, and stakeholder relationships • Coordinate day to day with the broader team and functional stakeholders • Report to the Head of Operations Data

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data operations owning production systems independently • Strong SQL and data modeling (PostgreSQL) • Proven ETL and API integration • Experience and comfort with AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn about all aspects of mineral exploration, particularly in the geology domain • Willingness to work directly with geologists in the field • Ability to explain technical problems to and collaborate on solutions with non-technical domain experts • Strong communication and cross-company collaboration skills • Excitement about joining a fast-growing early-stage company and comfort with a dynamic work environment • Eagerness to take on an evolving range of responsibilities • Interest in aligning technical products with business objectives • Valid passport • Willingness to travel to Mingomba or an exploration site around the world • Light travel as required • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
