📋 Description

• Support monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for accounts across organizational entities • Support month-end close procedures for designated sites, including close checklists, statistical entry and reconciliation, and post-close review and analysis • Assist with balance sheet and income statement analysis for designated facilities and account ranges • Support annual budgets and monthly operations forecasts • Investigate, explain, and resolve balance sheet reconciliation variances • Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by providing requested documentation and explanations • Interact with HSC Office management across departments • Perform other duties supporting the HSC Accounting department • Review and record journal entries with facility leadership and Site Liaison teams • Use Oracle OTBI and SmartView for ad-hoc financial analysis • Assist with process improvement and efficiency initiatives • Participate in training and professional development on accounting standards and healthcare regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 1–2 years of experience preferred; previous accounting experience preferred but not required • Internships or related coursework may be considered • CPA designation preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
