📋 Description

• Design and build core technology powering Lime’s fleet of connected vehicles • Develop backend systems for location and asset data analysis and experimentation • Contribute to Lime’s internal messaging platform • Build scalable, efficient, and stable software for electric vehicles and related features • Solve strategically essential technical problems and build highly scalable foundational platforms • Revamp existing core application experiences • Scrutinize and reason about technology and architecture • Collaborate with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams • Contribute to the overall engineering culture • Participate in the on-call rotation • Respond to incidents, troubleshoot production issues, outages, and critical alerts • Escalate incidents and collaborate to restore service • Document issues and improve service reliability and reduce recurring incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Canada • 1+ years of industry professional software development experience • Track record of building impactful products or systems • Ability to write logical and maintainable code • Ability to provide clear feedback in code reviews • Technical proficiency to understand project and idea design and implementation • Excellent communication and effective prioritization skills • Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation, including occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage • Experience working with data and associated infrastructure (preferred) • Experience in Ruby and Go (preferred)
