📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the product area, including discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration, in partnership with Engineering and Design. • Drive the conversion of non-deterministic LLMs into reliable, mission-critical mortgage automation by defining requirements, evaluating tradeoffs, and setting success criteria. • Lead customer discovery with mortgage lenders, loan officers, and operations teams through interviews and workflow analysis. • Turn customer learning into a roadmap grounded in customer evidence, business strategy, and technical feasibility. • Prototype and explore product ideas using AI coding tools and technical expertise. • Create product specifications and acceptance criteria for Engineering and Design. • Define success metrics and drive post-launch iteration. • Represent the customer in technical architecture discussions and advocate for user experience. • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on positioning and deal cycles. • Make scope decisions and ship focused, well-executed products.

🎯 Requirements

• Technical background through software engineering experience or sufficient depth to read a codebase, prototype with AI coding tools, and contribute to architecture conversations. • Fluency with LLM concepts, including prompting, evaluations, retrieval, and fine-tuning. • Experience building B2B SaaS products in a regulated industry such as fintech, insurtech, healthcare, or similar. • Mortgage or lending experience is a big plus. • Strong customer research skills, including interviewing, synthesizing qualitative signals, and producing actionable insights from direct user exposure. • Data fluency, including dashboard analysis, quantitative investigation, and hypothesis formation. • Track record of shipping in a fast-moving startup environment, managing ambiguity, and making decisions without complete information. • Exceptional written communication for specifications, documentation, and asynchronous updates. • Ability to build strong working relationships with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs. • Experience owning product metrics and using them to guide iteration.
