📋 Description

• Support the Case Management Modernization Program for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts • Design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for enterprise applications in AWS • Define performance benchmarks and KPIs based on application SLAs, SOW requirements, and user load models • Build, configure, and maintain performance test environments in AWS cloud infrastructure • Design test scripts with JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or K6 • Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous monitoring • Conduct baseline performance analysis and capacity planning for CMM components • Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to identify bottlenecks and tune configurations • Analyze test results and prepare performance reports with optimization recommendations • Validate application releases against federal performance and reliability standards before production deployment • Support failover and stress testing to verify fault tolerance and scalability • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide performance insights during sprint planning and retrospectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field • 5+ years of experience with integration, regression, and system testing using automated testing tools in web-based applications • 5+ years of experience in software performance testing and engineering • 3+ years of experience in cloud-based or distributed systems • Experience writing test cases and test plans, executing test scripts, reporting defects, and preparing test results reports • Experience across the entire QA life cycle and test documentation process • Strong proficiency in JavaScript • Proficiency with JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or K6 • Strong knowledge of performance engineering principles, concurrency modeling, resource utilization, and tuning • Experience testing AWS cloud environments, including EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, and RDS • Working understanding of NodeJS, REST APIs, microservices, and ReactJS • Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines • Ability to interpret system logs, metrics, and profiling data • Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Grafana • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills • Experience with federal or enterprise-scale application performance testing • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift • Understanding of network performance testing and distributed tracing • Exposure to AI-driven performance analytics or predictive capacity modeling • Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization • Ability to work with high-level customer stakeholders and build customer relationships • Experience applying industry tools, solutions, methods, best practices, and emerging technologies • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team • Ability to obtain a position of Public Trust with the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts • Must be a US Person: Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen • Must be able to possess BI Full 6C (T4) public trust/other requirement • Preferred certifications: ISTQB Performance Testing Certification (CT-PT), AWS Certified Solutions Architect–Associate or DevOps Engineer • Beneficial or advantageous certifications: SAFe Practitioner (SPC/SSM) and Performance Engineering Certification
