• Establish a positive rapport and understand learners' needs while actively engaging them • Deliver French as a Second Language (FSL) tutoring sessions • Determine how to teach the provided instructional materials to learners • Complete electronic administrative documents within deadlines • Help federal public servants develop their French as a second language skills, particularly speaking
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • Excellent spoken and written French • Good spoken and written English • Strong comfort with information and communication technologies • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams • Possession of a functional computer with webcam/video capability • Professionalism, energy, creativity and ability to adapt to different learner types and levels • Experience in tutoring or teaching is an asset • Knowledge of the Canadian federal Public Service exams and A, B and C levels is an asset • Availability Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., depending on assignments • Self-employed status
