📋 Description

• Maintain and regularly update safety management systems and compliance platforms, including ISNetworld and Contractor Compliance • Oversee health and safety programs across the LTL Group of Companies • Review, update, and distribute the LTL Safety Manual, health and safety policies, procedures, and documentation • Lead, mentor, and manage the Safety Team • Chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) • Coordinate hazard identification and near-miss reporting processes, including facilitation, documentation, and follow-up • Manage documentation and correspondence related to WSIB claims • Maintain inventory of HSE supplies, including procurement and tracking • Collect, analyze, and report HSE performance data, safety goals, targets, and KPIs • Support delivery and tracking of health and safety orientation and training for new employees • Support supervisors with training for required paperwork, including JSA’s, FLHA’s, and inspections • Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses; prepare reports and implement corrective and preventive actions • Ensure adherence to the LTL Quality Management System and contribute to continuous improvement • Drive enhancements to the company’s HSE program and processes • Lead efforts toward achieving and maintaining COR

🎯 Requirements

• Mid-level experience • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and applicable regulations • Experience maintaining safety management systems and compliance platforms such as ISNetworld and Contractor Compliance • Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a Safety Team • Ability to chair a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) • Knowledge of hazard identification and near-miss reporting processes • Experience managing WSIB claims documentation and correspondence • Ability to collect, analyze, and report HSE performance data and KPIs • Ability to support health and safety orientation and training • Knowledge of JSA’s, FLHA’s, inspections, and related safety paperwork • Ability to lead incident, near-miss, and occupational-illness investigations • Ability to prepare detailed reports and implement corrective and preventive actions • Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement • Ability to lead COR achievement and maintenance efforts
