📋 Description

• Own tax compliance across all group entities, including US, Cayman Islands, and Costa Rica, with lighter UK/Australia oversight • Manage PFIC reporting and evolving tax obligations as the business expands into new jurisdictions • Partner with external tax advisors to ensure filings, elections, and disclosures are accurate and timely • Manage intercompany loan agreements, balances, settlements, documentation, transfer pricing considerations, and reconciliations • Oversee crypto treasury compliance, including wallet/exchange reconciliation and fair market value recording • Maintain visibility into group-wide cash and crypto positions • Act as finance owner for statutory and regulatory compliance across group entities • Ensure local statutory filings, audits, and regulatory requirements are met • Identify and mitigate compliance risks as the business grows • Oversee accounts payable processes • Own payroll across all entities and jurisdictions • Serve as primary contact for external accounting firms and outsourced finance providers • Manage provider deliverables, quality, and timelines • Identify opportunities to bring processes in-house or improve external support arrangements

🎯 Requirements

• CA/CPA qualified with relevant post-qualification tax and compliance experience • Exposure to US, Cayman Islands, or Costa Rica structures ideal • 6+ years in Big 4 Audit/Consulting • 2+ years PFIC experience • Strong international tax knowledge • PFIC rules/reporting experience preferred • Experience with intercompany loan structures and related compliance/documentation • Exposure to crypto/digital asset treasury and reconciliation a plus • Experience operating across multiple entities/jurisdictions in a high-growth environment • Experience overseeing payroll and accounts payable functions • Comfortable managing external accounting firms/outsourced providers to a high standard • Strong Excel skills • Campfire experience advantageous
