📋 Description

• Work closely with the Director of Product and engineers to shape new features and improve frequently used workflows • Guide the design process from ideation through validation to development • Develop a deep understanding of user needs and pain points to inform design decisions and product requirements • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define the user experience of new products and features • Explore design solutions based on PRDs, gather feedback from the team and users, and synthesize it into a clear design direction • Craft holistic systems, flows, and interfaces that scale with the product • Lead collaboration with the Product Manager and engineers throughout the design process • Guide design vision at an organizational level with cross-functional teams • Create on-brand marketing materials for social media, email campaigns, promotional assets, and presentations • Maintain and update website content, visuals, and layouts to support marketing initiatives and brand standards

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant, in-house product design experience • Proven ability to lead end-to-end design on complex, interconnected products • Experience collaborating/workshopping closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams • Excellent communication skills to present design work, explain trade-offs and facilitate design conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong visual design skills to help elevate the visual identity of the platform • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt the design process to fit the problem • Experience working for a start-up or small B2B product team strongly valued • Curious and self-directed; able to move forward without waiting for direction • Experience building or contributing to a design system strongly valued • Interest in brand and visual design strongly valued • Familiarity with Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, Claude Design, Webflow, or HTML/CSS • Remote in Canada; Montreal preferred
