📋 Description

• Serve as the face of Manulife Bank’s specialized lending team in an assigned territory • Promote and provide solutions support for specialized lending products and associated banking solutions with Financial Advisors • Present complete and robust packages to underwriting • Contribute to regional and national business development through product promotion, product enhancements, special initiatives, and presentations • Grow and improve territory profitability through regular advisor contact and relationship expansion • Support financial advisors by working with centers of influence, professional advisors, and end clients • Demonstrate the benefits of integrating specialized lending with traditional insurance and investment business • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness • Relay field feedback regarding product and service improvements and new product opportunities • Provide specialized lending directly to end clients in collaboration with Financial Advisors • Generate specialized lending and commercial mortgage opportunities • Craft lending solutions aligned with clients’ needs and advisors’ financial strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Fully bilingual in French and English • Excellent consultative sales capability, including prospecting, fact-finding, presenting solutions, closing, and servicing • 10 or more years of business or commercial banking experience • Strong ability to read and assess corporate financial statements against bank policies • Highly organized and self-disciplined • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent negotiation skills • Seasoned presentation skills across various formats • Working knowledge of permanent life insurance • Aptitude for learning and utilizing technology for business purposes • Solid financial services and banking industry knowledge • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory • Ability to handle multiple tasks across diverse areas of responsibility while organizing and prioritizing workflows • Experience coordinating bank initiatives across multiple distribution channels and working directly with advisors, professionals, and clients • Ability to assess the likelihood of the bank’s participation in a lending proposal following preliminary review and analysis • Experience working with Manulife Private Wealth, Retail, Insurance, and Securities partners
