📋 Description

• Lead incident response for North America • Serve as lead security responder in North American time zones • Triage and investigate complex alerts • Act as a core member of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Team • Participate in 24x7x365 on-call rotations and provide senior-level escalation support • Engineer, maintain, and optimize detection logic across multiple data sources • Use threat modeling to keep detection coverage current • Design detection coverage mapping and identify threat-landscape blind spots • Develop and track detection and response KPIs with leadership • Create and maintain incident response runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation • Mentor junior team members in security operations, detection engineering, and incident response • Build automation workflows and orchestration playbooks • Develop and use AI-driven tools for Security Operations and Incident Response • Conduct proactive, hypothesis-driven threat hunts across corporate and production environments • Support logging and monitoring infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, emphasizing Incident Response and Detection Engineering • Additional expertise in threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, and digital forensics preferred • Industry certifications in Incident Response or related fields strongly preferred, such as GCIH, GCFA, GIME, OSIR, or GEIR • Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools including EDR, NDR, CSPM, EASM, SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security platforms such as GuardDuty • Proficiency with MITRE ATT&CK and applying it to assess detection capabilities and coverage gaps • Expertise developing threat detection use cases from security telemetry analysis, environment baselining, actionable threat intelligence, and incident response findings • Ability to identify detection coverage gaps across global infrastructure and collaborate with stakeholders to improve logging and detection content • Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and containerization technologies • Experience with Python, JavaScript, or Go preferred • Experience with Terraform preferred • Experience with KAPE, EnCase, FTK, or Volatility preferred • Experience with Sigma or YARA preferred • Experience conducting Purple Team exercises and writing reports preferred • Experience validating vulnerabilities or reported bugs preferred • Experience with Observability or SRE tools and processes preferred • Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation • Ability to work in North American time zones
