📋 Description

• Design and implement high-performance solutions for large-scale, high-volume, high-velocity financial data and complex compliance landscapes • Develop software and infrastructure for repeatable, efficient, high-quality releases with automation • Replace redundant tasks and enhance engineering focus on strategic challenges • Debug and resolve critical production issues across services and system layers • Incorporate customer needs and product stakeholder input into technical solutions • Analyze data, detect patterns, and document findings for non-technical audiences • Lead design for medium components/features • Participate in design for larger components/features • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to drive reliable, high-quality outcomes • Own well-defined features and components and deliver team goals across quarterly milestones

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development • Experience with Java, service-oriented architectures, and cloud computing; AWS preferred • Experience with Java and Spring Boot • Experience with a front-end framework like React or Next.js and knowledge of CSS/HTML • Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker • Knowledge of common design patterns in scalable distributed systems and core computer science concepts • Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWTs, and user session management • Experience designing, building, and maintaining web and mobile applications • Ability to develop and deliver clean, readable, error-free code with thorough documentation and testing • Ability to understand existing designs and technology choices and make appropriate adjustments • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and respectfully verbally and in writing • Ability to share relevant information, including difficult task-level trade-offs impacting the product • Ability to demonstrate humility, empathy, and accept constructive feedback positively • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver a project • Capacity to work productively on cross-functional teams with a collaborative, team-oriented approach • Experience with payments or the FinTech space is a nice to have • Experience with big data analytics tools such as Snowflake and stream processing architectures is a nice to have • Contributions to technical blogs, a public GitHub repository, or open-source projects are nice to have
