📋 Description

• Provide advanced verbal and written clinical inquiry responses to consumers, educators, medical and health professionals, state and local health departments, and government offices • Provide medical subject matter expertise on CDC-INFO topics, including HIV/AIDS, immunizations, environmental health, NIOSH, tuberculosis, and statistics • Respond to inquiries related to current events, including food outbreaks, natural disasters, bioterrorism, first responders, and national emergency situations • Perform advanced database searches • Compose documents, reports, and correspondence • Document all incoming inquiries • Perform assigned work in accordance with quality assurance measures • Participate in special projects as required • Respond to medical personnel and clinicians in verbal and written formats

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current RN license is required • Experience in medical, scientific and public health discipline • Clinical knowledge of and experience in CDC-related topics • Proficient internet search skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize software applications • Excellent listening, comprehension, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to organize simultaneous tasks • Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00am and 8:00pm EST, Monday-Friday • Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US • Must have a smartphone for logging into Maximus systems • Must have a webcam for training and occasional internal meetings • Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps, or 50 Mbps for shared connectivity, with minimum 5 Mbps upload speed • Internet connection via Category 5 or 6 Ethernet patch cable • Personal computer or laptop running Windows 10/11 or macOS Big Sur, Catalina, or Monterey • Private, secure work area and adequate power source • Chromebooks, tablets, and notebooks are not allowed
