• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across target markets including water, power, oil & gas, chemical, food & beverage, and general manufacturing. • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry and technical discussion through to quotation, negotiation, and close. • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, contractors, EPCs, and engineering partners. • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to support customer understanding of pump technologies, efficiency benefits, and system integration requirements. • Analyse customer specifications, P&IDs, and system requirements to propose suitable pumping and flow-control solutions. • Provide market feedback to internal engineering, product development, and senior management teams to influence future product strategy. • Forecast and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends. • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and customer-specific technical meetings.
• Proven business development experience selling technical or engineered products. • Background in pumps, valves, rotating equipment, flow-control systems, or closely related industrial technologies. • Ability to engage in technical discussions, review specifications, and communicate engineering concepts to customers. • Strong understanding of industrial processes, maintenance considerations, and system performance drivers. • Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and grow existing customer relationships. • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. • Comfortable working in a remote role with significant travel across the UK. • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) is highly advantageous, though relevant experience will be strongly considered.
