Merit Medical Oncology is a division/specialty of Merit Medical Systems focused on devices and procedural solutions for oncologic interventions. It is part of Merit Medical Systems, a global manufacturer founded in 1987 that designs and markets proprietary disposable medical devices used in interventional, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across cardiology, radiology, oncology, critical care and endoscopy. Merit Medical Oncology supports hospitals and physicians worldwide with products (e. g. , biopsy, embolotherapy, drainage, and other oncology-related interventional tools), clinician education and training, regulatory and product documentation, and global distribution and customer support.

📋 Description

• Provide clinical training to Sales Representatives, Tech Teams, Merit employees, Cath lab and Radiology staff, Insertion Site Care Clinicians, and physicians on Merit products • Demonstrate mastery, competence, and expertise with assigned products within Interventional verticals and associated cardiac and interventional procedures • Organize and oversee on-site or remote clinical aspects of StatSeal account trials or conversions, including documenting and tracking comments, opportunities, and projects in CRM • Act as the main clinical resource for assigned products and region, supporting team members and mentoring peers • In-service, guide, and clinically support customers on new and existing products at account locations approximately 50% of the time • Assist with assessment of new product market research trials and new product introductions • Provide ongoing product-related instruction and relevant product information to customers • Address clinical inquiries from doctors, technicians, sales representatives, and other relevant parties • Integrate into clinical and regional teams as a contributing member • Act as a clinical product resource to customers and sales teams • Perform other required duties and tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Education and/or business experience equivalent to a Clinical Degree (RT/RN/PA/RCIS) in the interventional cardiology or radiology procedures-related field • Three years directly supporting interventional-based or vascular-related procedures • Five years of experience in procedural-based medical settings preferred • Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze feedback in a learning environment • Understanding of coaching and development techniques and ability to implement clinical or sales preparation programs related to Merit products • Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend complex issues • Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate large-scale programs • Demonstrated computer skills, preferably in spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applicable software • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills • Problem-solving skills • Product knowledge/experience • Communication skills • Computer skills • Analytical skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; local practice may apply • Ability to meet physical/environmental demands including writing, sitting, standing, bending, visual acuity, color perception, depth perception, reading, peripheral field of vision, and occupational radiation exposure
