📋 Description

• Develop strategies and tactics for identifying, pursuing and closing opportunities for renting and selling modular buildings within the Federal market • Generate new business and grow existing business to increase profits for the Division • Require attention to detail, build customer relationships and work collaboratively across the organization to provide accurate estimates supported by inhouse team of engineers, estimators, CM and PMs • Execute the project and ensure things are done right the first time • Identify potential prospects for national Federal Prime Contractor opportunities and direct to Federal government account conversion through collaboration with the Government Business Development Team and managers • Assist in the development of marketing plans to support sales activities • Build relationships with potential customers and manufacturers of modular buildings, as well as sub-contractors for transportation, installation and service • Demonstrate product knowledge to answer customer questions and offer solutions to meet customer needs • Follow established processes in sales and implementation of the project • Ensure customers receive excellent service throughout the project life • Maintain accurate records in the division’s database on customer quotes, specifications and special requests; meet minimum entry requirements daily • Develop relationships within various networking organizations or industry associations • Develop teaming relationships with small business partners; 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business), and SDVOSB (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) • Achieve/exceed sales related quotas and goals • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5 or more years experience in sales; results driven • Prior experience in selling to the Federal Government • Large scale technical turnkey project experience • Ability to travel within territory as needed, including some overnight travel (approx 6-10 times per year) • Effective negotiation and closing skills • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics • Understanding of Federal Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) codes and specifications • Understanding of Federal facility access security requirements for employees and vendors • Understanding of Federal procurement process and types of contracts • Commitment to excellent customer service • Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate ideas in verbal, email and other written formats • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of motivation and a passion for sales • Proficiency with various computer programs including Microsoft Suite, Internet and other customer databases • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with both customers and sales team while paying attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills • Demonstrated experience working in a process driven environment • Demonstrated skills in project and time management • Effective time management and able to work in a process driven environment • Confident, assertive, quick-thinking and able to make decisions within established guidelines • Valid Driver’s License • In certain states, candidates are required to successfully obtain the HCD Commercial Coach Salesperson License within 10 weeks of their start date
