📋 Description

• Own accounting for a registered investment fund entity within a dual-listed public company • Work directly with finance leadership in a lean, high-accountability environment • Develop expertise in IFRS, financial instruments, IFRS 9/ECL, and fund accounting • Gain exposure to lending, payments, wealth, treasury, and public-company reporting • Support consolidations across multiple entities and business lines • Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and AI-enabled workflows • Mentor one direct report while developing your own leadership capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• CPA designation completed or in final stages • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience • Big 4 or national-firm public practice experience required • Strong IFRS and financial reporting foundation • Experience with financial instruments, IFRS 9, and ECL concepts • Full-cycle accounting experience including close, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support • Wealth management, asset management, or investment fund accounting experience is a strong asset • Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Genuine interest in process improvement, automation, and scalable finance operations
