• Manage day-to-day finance, talent, and internal culture operations • Manage full-cycle accounts payable for Vote Solar and Vote Solar Action Fund, including vendor setup, bill coding, and payment execution • Manage the credit card program, including receipt matching, policy compliance, and monthly reconciliation • Process and reconcile incoming donor and grant deposits across both entities • Prepare and track funder invoicing, restricted/unrestricted fund coding, and receivable aging • Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day AP/AR questions • Support monthly account reconciliations, budget tracking, and annual audit preparation • Support hiring logistics, pipeline tracking, and reporting • Maintain personnel records and administer onboarding/offboarding documentation • Administer Lattice performance management and employee engagement survey systems • Support benefits administration and payroll-related requests • Monitor labor law updates and maintain handbooks and policies • Draft and distribute internal newsletters and maintain Intranet content • Coordinate organization-wide meetings, events, retreats, and all-staff meetings • Communicate operational policies and updates and gather staff feedback • Coordinate staff appreciation, recognition, branded materials, and culture-building activities • Contribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice learning and practices
• ~2-4 years of professional experience, ideally including exposure to accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, or reconciliations) and/or HR or people-operations systems • BA/BS and/or sufficient relevant work experience typically preferred • Prior experience with DEIJ agendas preferred • Personal commitment to an inclusive and just workplace • Ability to navigate ambiguity in self and in team • Problem-solving orientation with ability to identify obstacles, propose answers, and independently own assigned work • Ability to work in collaborative, authentic partnership • Must be located within the United States • Ability to travel nationally one to three times per year • E-Verify employment eligibility verification may be required depending on state of residence
