• Build and maintain sustainable customer relationships within the sales territory – focus on existing customers • Technical consulting and design of system solutions in fluid technology (oil & gas, hydrogen, process industry, mechanical engineering) • Evaluate customer inquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations, and independently negotiate prices and contracts through to closing • Responsible for sales and for planning market and revenue targets • Contribute to market, competitor and target-group analyses • Represent the company at trade fairs and conferences • Occasional support of the service team for existing customers • Approximately 60 customer visits per year for account management, needs analysis and identification of new application opportunities across the entire product portfolio
• Technical training/technician qualification or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or commercial training with several years of relevant professional experience • Field sales experience in an industrial environment • Experience in project-based sales in hydraulics • Business-fluent German (spoken and written) and good English skills • Willingness to travel for occasional customer visits (approx. 30% travel) • Hands-on mentality, team player and enjoyment of customer contact
