📋 Description

• Lead a team of compliance testing and monitoring professionals and/or managed services • Plan, execute, and report regulation-based consumer compliance testing, BSA/AML compliance testing, fintech partner testing, and general compliance monitoring and oversight • Review testing results and create reports communicating testing outcomes and risk profiles to management • Provide guidance to staff regarding complex compliance issues • Evaluate team member performance through quality assurance reviews, performance evaluations, and coaching • Foster team member skills through learning and growth opportunities • Partner with Compliance Advisory, Enterprise Risk, Legal, and Line of Business stakeholders to develop compliance control enhancements • Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, regulatory expectations, enforcement actions, and emerging risks • Manage testing logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, scoping, execution, and reporting • Coordinate compliance assurance activities with Compliance Advisory, Internal Audit, Legal, and other organizational teams • Perform validation testing on issues to ensure they are fully addressed • Provide leadership reports on testing results and trends • Provide periodic status reports to Management and Board-level governance committees • Manage tracking and reporting of compliance testing issues • Research compliance requirements arising during testing • Support and participate in regulatory exams, internal audits, and internal compliance testing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or commensurate work experience • 8+ years of consumer compliance, audit or regulatory exam support experience • Specific experience overseeing and performing compliance monitoring and testing activities • Strong attention to detail • Strong ability to work in an ever-changing environment • Strong working knowledge of consumer compliance laws and regulations • Strong ability to manage multiple compliance reviews and projects at the same time and meet timely deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently • Compliance certification, such as a CRCM or CAMS, preferred • Must be comfortable working with people at varying levels of skill and authority • Demonstrated commitment to service, organization values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor always • Must reside in West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Arkansas, Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Indiana, North Carolina, Georgia, or South Dakota
