📋 Description

• Set and communicate the overall UX design strategy for the product • Maintain HR Acuity’s design system and drive adoption across design and engineering • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of three UX Designers and one UX Researcher • Design wireframes, mockups, interaction specifications, and functional prototypes for high-impact work • Understand customer needs and translate them into user-centric designs • Partner with UX Research to plan and act on concept and usability testing • Establish UX standards and review team work for consistency and quality • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering from concept through delivery • Present design work and rationale to stakeholders and leadership • Balance short-term fixes with long-term design vision • Champion accessibility and inclusive design and own the accessibility-vendor relationship • Monitor competitor products, design tooling, industry trends, and AI-assisted design capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of UX or product design experience • 2+ years leading, mentoring, or managing designers • Experience ideally in a B2B SaaS platform environment • Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining a design system at scale • Experience driving design-system adoption across cross-functional teams • Expert-level proficiency with Figma • Hands-on experience with Figma’s AI tools • Experience designing complex workflows in B2B or B2C SaaS products • Experience across web, native, and mobile-first approaches • Strong command of user-centric design strategy, UX principles, interaction design, and usability techniques • Experience partnering with UX research or running research independently • Track record of setting design direction and standards in an agile environment • Excellent communication, storytelling, and data-presentation skills • Strong attention to detail and prioritization judgment • Collaborative, humble leadership style • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment • Creative problem-solving skills and bias toward shipping • Must be US based
