📋 Description

• Lead the Mortgage Engineering team focused on Admin Experience for nCino’s mortgage suite • Manage day-to-day software engineering execution and project delivery, providing hands-on support as needed • Improve team processes, collaboration, code quality, maintainability, performance, and scalability • Guide and empower employees, delegate assignments, establish deadlines, and verify work accuracy • Provide training and professional development for team members • Participate with senior leaders in hiring selection and performance management • Leverage AI for code generation, testing, debugging, optimization, pattern identification, automation, and development efficiency • Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities to strengthen product functionality and user experience • Monitor emerging AI trends and best practices to support continuous learning and innovation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience and 1+ year of management experience, or combination of education and experience • Proficiency in at least one major programming language • Understanding of software engineering principles, including system design, architecture, and development practices • Experience in a fast-paced development environment focused on improving development practices and processes in a large-scale organization • Proven success as a coach and mentor of technical staff • Demonstrated dedication to quality and continuous improvement • Ability to motivate yourself and others, prioritize work, and adapt in a dynamic team environment • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification • Experience with the AWS platform • Experience with Ruby and Vue.js
